Policing and Law Enforcement
We focus on the challenges facing law-enforcement agencies in the 21st century and the opportunities that exist to overcome them.
Alongside analysis of shifts in the criminal landscape, RUSI’s research explores the challenges facing law-enforcement agencies in their efforts to effectively and relentlessly disrupt the operations of criminal actors. We produce evidence-based research to advise law-enforcement agencies in the UK and overseas on how best to take advantage of the opportunities presented by emerging technologies, while also undertaking tailored capacity-building of new tools to counter specific threats. We work to facilitate cross-sectoral dialogue between practitioners, policymakers and academics on key aspects of the threat and the current law-enforcement response.
