Over the course of 2022, barely a week passed without missile tests, military parades or other dramatic developments on the Korean peninsula. Neither lockdowns nor the plight of the North Korean population slowed Pyongyang’s aggressive missile testing campaign or its pursuit of nuclear weapons.
