Gaza and the US
I think Netanyahu really rushed to Washington because he's concerned by reports that Trump wants to make a deal [with Iran]. Other information I've received indicates that Vice President JD Vance is also keen to make a deal. But there are obviously other types of voices within the wider MAGA universe looking to take a strike on Iran and really bring it to its knees. This goes against the wishes of most of the political leaderships in the region who don't harbour good feelings towards Iran, I think they're very cynical about the regime, I think they are very worried about the regime, particularly given its record in places like Syria, in Yemen, in Lebanon, in Iraq, but they're concerned about what this means for the stability of the region and also reprisal attacks by the Iranian regime if they were to be struck. I think there's also the issue of the Gaza Strip. I don't think that that's something that is very high on Netanyahu's agenda in terms of moving the process forward but I do think that the Trump administration is looking to make some sort of progress. The question is what the Trump administration will do vis-a-vis the Israelis if they don't move forward."
