CHINA AND RUSSIAN OIL
Given there are many other places from which China could buy its oil, including the United States, it would seem logical for China to avoid confrontation.
It is no surprise to see countries like China rethink their Russia oil purchases. There's a sense that the wind has changed direction and there is a heightened risk that the White House will now follow through on its sanctions decisions by going after those that choose to continue to buy.
Given there are many other places from which China could buy its oil, including the United States, it would seem logical for China to avoid confrontation.
This is a critical moment for Russia and an opportunity that Ukraine's allies most press home.
