Unlocking private sector financing is essential for the future of European defence investment. Bringing together its combination of military and finance expertise, RUSI’s Defence Financing Taskforce will convene the range of financial expertise - from venture capital to bank and capital markets financing - needed to identify and address the barriers that currently deter many private sector actors from financing European defence.
Aims and objectives
RUSI's Defence Financing Taskforce will:
- Gather cross-market financing expertise, funding, policy and regulatory experience.
- Identify the challenges that hold back European private sector financing and markets from fully engaging with defence funding.
- Design solutions that are implementable for relevant policy departments and financial sector regulators.
