In this episode, Jane and Jason discuss the intricacies and absurdities of Jason’s experience taking the Life in the UK test.
Each time someone wants to become a British Citizen, they have to pass the ‘Life in the UK’ test. Jason quizzes Jane on what he was made to learn about the supposed essentials of British life, with questions such as: what is a Welsh cake made from? Who won against the Vikings? And ‘what crosses compose the Union Flag?
