Chris Rowley has over 31 years’ policing experience in all areas, including serious and organised crime, homicide investigation, neighbourhood policing and response policing.Â
He recently retired as the Chief Constable of Lancashire Constabulary. During his time as Chief Constable, he restructured the organisation and developed a partnership-based culture to deliver a bespoke service to victims and communities. Chris was also the national lead for data integrity and Home Office crime classification rules. He conducted a full review of the rules on behalf of government. All recommendations were accepted and implemented which delivered improved services to victims of crime, whilst delivering efficiency savings and improved productivity in all police forces.Â
He was also the national police lead for health and wellbeing, developing a national authorised professional practice (APP) for the delivery of health and wellbeing across the police service. Chris also mentors a significant number of senior leaders and has been invited to speak at numerous conferences on police related matters.Â
Chris received a master’s in applied criminology and leadership from Cambridge University (with distinction). Whilst studying for his master’s, he was asked to support the university faculty in the delivery of strategic policing to senior officers in Hyderabad, India.
Chris is currently supporting various Centric projects including AIPAS, 3PO and Koban.Â
He was Awarded a KPM (King’s Police Medal) in June 2024, for distinguished service by His Majesty The King.
