What Ukraine has done is cut fairly severely into Russia's earnings during this incredible spike in the cost of oil as a result of the war in Iran. It was estimated last month that Russia made twice as much as it normally makes in energy revenues - this was US$19 Billion last month as opposed to around US$9 billion dollars in the month before. So even as Ukraine continues to attack Russian energy infrastructure, Russia will make more money in the coming month than it has previously. But what Ukraine is doing is preventing Russia from making even more."
