It looks as if Members of both Houses, and others who follow the course of debate around and about Westminster can look forward to some serious questioning on issues of Defence and Security over coming months.
Parliament, having risen on 22 July, was back in September for rather less than the inside of two working weeks before adjourning again for the party Conference recess. For this September session much of the Palace of Westminster remained a building site. Apart from other disadvantages this fact clearly helped the pro-hunting demonstrators to break into the Commons Chamber.
