This new podcast series, hosted by Dr Jessica White and Raffaello Pantucci, builds on the research RUSI has conducted and draws upon global expertise to discuss key emergent themes within global counterterrorism programming.
In the last few years, RUSI’s Terrorism and Conflict group conducted multiple extensive reviews of global preventing and countering violent extremism (P/CVE) programming to analyse what can work and what has not worked in this space. This research covered hundreds of programmes addressing different ideological motivations, with a particular focus on Islamist and far-right extremism. Through these projects, we have helped to build the global evidence base for P/CVE interventions across different areas, with several key themes, concepts and methods emerging.
Episode 1 on 'The Essential Nature of Gender to Counterterrorism' lands on Monday 20 February so remember to tune in.
