Harmonie Toros

Harmonie Toros is Professor in Politics and International Relations at the University of Reading. Her research focuses on various forms of engagement with non-state armed groups, from negotiations to capacity-building interventions. She regularly advises UN agencies, NATO and national governments on negotiations with non-state armed groups in East Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. She is the co-author of Contemporary Conflict Resolution (Polity, 2024).
