William Smith

Will Smith is an operations manager responsible for the liaison with technical teams in support of the HMG aims. A Signals Officer with a background in Defensive Cyber, he has experience in incident response, vulnerability management and threat hunting. He has been commended for his work leading UK Defensive efforts with both FVEY and NATO partners. 

Currently studying for a MSc in Cyber Security, his previous academic work included mathematical modelling of complex systems. In his spare time Will helps lead the engineering section of the Army Cyber Association, developing volunteers in technical, managerial, procedural aspects of cyber security. His current interests focus on the changing balance between attack and defence and how it is impacted by developing technology.
