Biography

The Rt Hon Dominic Raab is the Head of Global Affairs at Appian Capital Advisory, providing geopolitical and strategic advice in support of Appian’s international engagement with governments, international institutions and investors, with a focus on forging public-private-partnerships to deepen critical minerals supply chain security.

Dominic is also the Special Envoy for the World Gold Council on artisanal and small-scale gold mining (ASGM).

Dominic served as the Member of Parliament for Esher and Walton in the UK House of Commons between 2010 and 2024. He served as UK Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Secretary, alongside a range of other Ministerial positions during his time in Parliament.

Dominic started his career as an international lawyer at Linklaters law firm and worked as an international lawyer at the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) between 2000 and 2006.
