Robert Muggah

Robert Muggah is a political economist specialising in geopolitical risks and nature and climate policy. He co-founded the Igarapé Institute, SecDev and Bioverse, and advises governments, international organisations and technology and energy companies across Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa. A fellow at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, Princeton University, the Robert Bosch Academy, Singularity University and others, he also advises the World Economic Forum, the UN, IDB, IMF and the World Bank. He is the author of dozens of articles and eight books, including Terra Incognita: 100 Maps to Survive the Next 100 Years, and holds a doctorate from the University of Oxford.
