Biography
Tracey is a highly respected leader in financial services, regulation, and sustainability, with over three decades of experience spanning both the public and private sectors. She currently holds a number of Non-Executive and advisory roles.
From 2017 to 2024, Tracey was a member of the Global Management Team and Group Head of Conduct, Financial Crime and Compliance at Standard Chartered Bank.
Prior to joining Standard Chartered, Tracey held a series of senior roles at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Over a 15 year career at the FCA she was Acting Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director of Enforcement and Financial Crime, Executive Director of Supervision and Authorisations, after 10 years in various roles in enforcement and financial crime. This came after a 10 years in private practice as a commercial lawyer.
Tracey played a central role in shaping the UK’s regulatory response to financial misconduct. She was awarded a CBE in 2016 for services to financial markets and consumers.
Tracey holds an LLB from Queen Mary University of London and has served as an Honorary Professor at its Centre for Commercial Law Studies.
