Sarah Manney is an intern at the Centre for Financial Crime and Security Studies (CFCS) at RUSI. At CFCS, her research focuses on transatlantic responses to illicit finance and authoritarian threats. Her other research interests include asset recovery and return, lobbying transparency, and corporate due diligence on corruption and human rights risks.

Prior to joining RUSI, Sarah served as Policy Advisor on Russia and Ukraine to the Foreign Minister of Canada, and previously as a public sector consultant at the firm McKinsey & Company. She is pursuing a joint JD-MPP between Stanford University and the University of Cambridge, where her research focuses on improving asset seizure laws to tackle the proceeds of kleptocracy.
