Cassian Maciejewski

Biography
Cassian is a Project Officer/International Deployment Manager in the Centre for Finance and Security (CFS) at RUSI. His work focusses primarily on leading the organisation and delivery of workshops and related events for CFS worldwide.
Prior to joining RUSI, Cassian provided administrative and client development support for Anders de Wiart Associates (AdWA), a boutique defence consultancy. Cassian also recently worked at the London Defence Conference, where he assisted with event programming and planning for LDC 2026.
Cassian is a former UK civil servant, having served for two years in the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) where he managed relationships between DHSC and the thirteen public bodies that deliver and regulate services on its behalf. Before becoming a UK civil servant, Cassian worked in the Office of Communications at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome, where he supported the delivery of flagship UN outreach campaigns, including World Food Day 2022.
Cassian holds a BA in Liberal Arts from Durham University and an MA in International Relations from King’s College London.
