Research Analyst, Cyber Threats and Cyber Security
Rebecca Lucas is a Research Analyst in Cyber Threats and Cyber Security. Her current research focuses on cyber security policy, including the global spread of technology and associated national security risks. Her research interests also include the intersection of technological innovation, including cyber, and defence policy.
Before coming to RUSI, Rebecca spent several years with Booz Allen Hamilton providing support to a variety of clients within the U.S. Department of Defense. Her work primarily addressed challenges in the science and technology research and development community. She also spent a brief period as a Junior Research Analyst with The Risk Advisory Group and as a research assistant for Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service. Rebecca holds an MA in Security Studies from Georgetown University and a BA from Wellesley College with Honours in Political Science.
