Arthur Langley

Arthur is a final-year History and International Relations student at the University of Leicester. His research focuses on nuclear deterrence credibility and Russia's challenge to European security, with a particular focus on the structural limitations of assurance-based guarantees and extended deterrence architecture. Arthur’s dissertation examined UK national security policy making in response to Russian hybrids threats (2014-2025) assessing the depth of strategic adaptation across 5 policy domains. 

In September 2026, he will begin a part-time MA in National Security Studies at King's College London.
