Samarth Gupta

Samarth Gupta is a Policy Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy and Research. He served at the U.S. Department of the Treasury from 2022 to 2025, both as a Special Assistant for Russia/Ukraine in the Office of Economic Policy and as a policy advisor to the Deputy Secretary. He received an A.B. in economics from Harvard College, an M.Phil in comparative social policy from Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar, and a J.D. from Yale Law School.
