Jack Duffield
Defence Technology and National Security Practitioner
Jack Duffield is an experienced Defence technology practitioner with a diverse background in national security. He previously spent eight years as an Officer in the Royal Air Force, where he deployed operationally with UK and US specialist units, held staff roles in the Ministry of Defence, and was seconded to both the Home Office and the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office. He is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Nottingham, where his research focuses on unacknowledged interference, intelligence, special operations and security narratives, with an additional interest in air and space power. He holds an MA in International Relations and a Chief of the Air Staff's Fellowship.
