Biography

Shona Campbell is Programme Manager for the Centre for Finance and Security (CFS) at RUSI, where she supports the planning, coordination and delivery of the Centre’s research projects and programmes.

Prior to joining RUSI, Shona worked in communications and public affairs roles across the civil service and independent regulators, including the Charity Commission and Electoral Commission. At the Electoral Commission, she led engagement with the House of Lords and managed programmes supporting the regulator’s democratic education initiatives. Through her work at the Electoral Commission she developed an interest in political finance, including the regulation of cryptocurrency.

Shona holds degrees in History and Politics from the University of Glasgow and Political Science from the University of Manchester.
