Jack Burling Nebe

Project Manager for UK PONIProliferation and Nuclear Policy

Jack Burling Nebe is Project Manager for UK PONI in the Proliferation and Nuclear Policy programme at RUSI. His research interests include the interaction between nuclear and conventional deterrence, nuclear proliferation and the impact of emerging technologies on strategic stability. He has also written on deterrence failures in the 21st century and the ethics of AI in defence. His work has been published in AI & Society and POLITICO.

Prior to joining RUSI, Jack worked for the UK Ministry of Defence at the British Embassy in Berlin, as well as at the Oxford Internet Institute and POLITICO. He holds an MPhil in International Relations from the University of Oxford and a double major in Political Science and Philosophy from New York University.
