Biography

Tash Buckley is a Lecturer in Cyber Security at Cranfield University and a recognised researcher in emerging technologies, national security, and research security policy.

She has significant cross-sector experience from her former role as a research analyst in the Cyber and Technology team at RUSI. Tash is an invited commentator on contemporary security issues including appearances on BBC News, and is a regular contributor to major think tanks and policy platforms.

Tash’s interdisciplinary expertise, spanning computer science, human geography and international relations informs her strategic approach to her research area. Her doctoral research focuses on the evolution of UK cyber strategy, particularly the shift from cyber security to cyber power. Tash has a strong strategic research vision, cross-sector credibility, and a proven ability to convene diverse communities to deliver impactful, sustainable research outcomes.
