Biography

Madison Agresti is the Programme Manager for International Security Studies at RUSI. She is responsible for coordinating the team’s research and project activities for funders such as the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and the US Department of Defence. Madison works closely with the Director on business development and strategy.

Prior to joining RUSI, Madison developed programmes to disrupt transnational criminal networks for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) through inter-regional joint investigation strengthening, information sharing and analysis, and digital evidence gathering. She also designed human rights and humanitarian aid programmes in Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, and Turkey.

Madison holds a MA in Development Studies with a Global Security and Conflict specialization from the Geneva Graduate Institute in Switzerland. During her studies, Madison served as a Graduate Consultant for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) where she conducted research on enhancing the protective environment for Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
