Pedro Abramovay, Vice President of Programs at the Open Society Foundations, is a former Brazilian Secretary of Justice and the co-author (with Gabriela Lotta) of Democracy on a Tightrope: Politics and Bureaucracy in Brazil (Central European University Press, 2025).
