Change is the only constant when it comes to tracking terrorism financing threats," reported Stephen Reimer, Research Fellow at RUSI’s Centre for Financial Crime and Security Studies, at the UN Security Council Counter-Terrorism Committee Special Joint Session.
Stephen Reimer shared his expertise on how the threat of transnational terrorism has evolved, how this relates to the current counter-terrorist finance regime, and what can be done at a global level to better track the financing and counter current and emerging threats when he spoke at the Joint Special Meeting of the Counter-Terrorism Committee and the 1267/1989/2253 ISIL (Da'esh) and Al-Qaida Sanctions Committee on "Terrorist-financing threats and trends and the implementation of Security Council resolution 2462 (2019).
