Victor Kidake is a Project Assistant - Mentorship with RUSI’s East Africa office. He is enthusiastic in supporting programs aimed at transforming and empowering the youth positively with the aim of countering and preventing violent extremism. Currently, he is supporting in coordination and implementation of the EU’s Strengthening Resilience to Violent Extremism (STRIVE II) mentorship and referral system in Kenya. Previously, he has supported in coordination of the Canadian funded Street mentorship CVE campaigns in Kenya. Victor holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and Statistics and an MA in Economics degree, both from the University of Nairobi. Victor is interested research capacity strengthening, as well as development research.
