Joshua H. Pollack

Joshua Pollack is a Senior Analyst at Constellation West, specializing in defense planning, deterrence, and proliferation. His recent research has concerned North Korea’s nuclear and missile programs, U.S.-Chinese strategic stability, and the interconnections between science, technology, and proliferation in Northeast Asia. Mr. Pollack is a longtime contributor to the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists and the ArmsControlWonk blog. His recent publications include, 'Boost-Glide Weapons and U.S.-China Strategic Stability’ (Nonproliferation Review, 2015), “Nuclear Diplomacy with North Korea: Over Before it Began?” (RUSI, 2014), 'The Unveiling of North Korea’s ICBM,' 38North.org (2012), and 'Ballistic Trajectory: The Evolution of North Korea’s Ballistic Missile Market' (Nonproliferation Review, 2011). Mr. Pollack previously served as a Senior Analyst at Science Applications International Corporation and an Associate at DFI Government Services. He holds a Masters of Public Management from the University of Maryland College Park, specializing in international security and economic policy.
