Katherine Norton-Williams

Research Assistant

Katie is a Research Assistant at RUSI's Centre for Financial Crime & Security Studies. She assists on research pertaining to cryptocurrency, sanctions evasion, and the DPRK. Prior to joining RUSI, she worked as an associate at Prescient, a Global Risk Mitigation and Intelligence Services Firm based in Chicago, where she conducted desktop collection for a suite of due diligence services.

Katie is currently pursuing an MA in Conflict, Security and Development at King’s College London, with an emphasis on financial security. She holds an MA (Hons) in International Relations and Social Anthropology from the University of St. Andrews, where she completed a dissertation focusing on Franco-African relations in the post-colonial era.
