Dr Nicholas A. Lambert has held fellowships at Yale University, Southampton University and Wolfson College, Oxford. Most recently he was visiting fellow at the University of Texas at Austin.
His monograph, Sir John Fisher’s Naval Revolution (Columbia: University of South Carolina Press, 1999) won multiple awards.
In addition, he has published more than a dozen articles that have appeared in various periodicals including: the Journal of Strategic Studies, the Journal of Modern History and the Journal of Military History.
In 2004 he was awarded the Institute of Historical Research Julian Corbett Prize.
He is currently finishing a new monograph provisionally entitled, Economic Warfare, Planning and Practice, 1901-1916.
He completed his undergraduate and graduate education at Worcester College, Oxford.
