Jamie Kwong is a Research Assistant in the Proliferation and Nuclear Policy Programme at RUSI, working on projects related to nuclear stability and supporting UK PONI initiatives. She is pursuing her PhD in War Studies at King’s College London, where her research focuses on public engagement with nuclear issues in both the US and UK
Jamie holds an MA in Public Diplomacy and BA in International Relations from the University of Southern California. She interned with the US State Department’s International Security and Nonproliferation Bureau working on WMD terrorism issues and the US House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs focusing on the Asia-Pacific region. She also served as a Korean Studies Institute Fellow researching North Korea’s nuclear weapons program and participated in the 2018 Public Policy and Nuclear Threats Bootcamp.
