International Partnerships
We focus on the role and effectiveness of international partnerships and alliances including the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), United Nations, G7 and G20.
Since 1945 international partnerships and alliances have been established primarily to preserve peace between the major states, principally led by the US and its allies and supported by an infrastructure of institutions with defined rules and regulations.
We comment on the changing roles, purpose and relevance of these institutions and consider how they might evolve as a result of the development of other bilateral relationships between major powers.
