This unique dinner, in the presence of Their Royal Highnesses Prince & Princess Michael of Kent, will commemorate the bicentenary of one of Britain's most famous land victories, by the founder of the Institute, the Duke of Wellington, at the Battle of Waterloo.
The event will begin with a champagne reception and private viewing of the Waterloo Exhibition, which is held in partnership with the Guards Museum from 10-19 June. Showcasing items ranging from battlefield related artefacts, medals, prints, paintings and other works of art that help to convey this decisive battle and its impact on Britain and across Europe and which the Duke of Wellington described as ‘the nearest run thing you ever saw in your life’.
The evening will also feature music and speaking contributions over the course of the dinner.
