The recently-released Integrated Review provided insights into the UK government's ambition on illicit finance, sanctions and serious and organised crime. This discussion unpacks and assess these ambitions.

RUSI’s Centre for Financial Crime & Security Studies and Organised Crime and Policing Team hosts a discussion of the illicit finance, sanctions and serious and organised crime elements of the recently published UK government Integrated Review of Security, Defence, Development and Foreign Policy.

While the focus of most commentators was inevitably directed towards headline decisions such as raising the cap on the UK’s nuclear warhead stockpile or the ‘tilt’ to the Indo-Pacific, the government also provided important signals about its ambition in a range of other policy areas, including financial and organised crime.

This webinar features RUSI’s experts on each of these fields:

Sanctions: Emil Dall, Senior Research Fellow, Centre for Financial Crime & Security Studies

Serious and Organised Crime: Keith Ditcham, Senior Research Fellow, Organised Crime and Policing

Illicit Finance: Tom Keatinge, Director, Centre for Financial Crime & Security Studies

UK Economic Crime: Helena Wood, Associate Fellow, Centre for Financial Crime & Security Studies

Chair: Matthew Redhead, Associate Fellow, Centre for Financial Crime & Security Studies
