The Rt Hon Tobias Ellwood MP, Chair of the Defence Select Committee of the House of Commons, will give an address on the implications for UK defence following the recent publication of the update to the Integrated Review of Security, Defence, Development and Foreign Policy.

Overview

Against the backdrop of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and rising global tensions with China, the Integrated Review refresh provided an opportunity for the UK government to reassess current and emerging threats and upgrade its defence posture. Mr Ellwood will reflect on the outcomes of the update to the Integrated Review and its implications for UK defence and international security.
