Integrated Review Update with Alicia Kearns MP: Outcomes for UK Foreign Policy
Join us for an address by Alicia Kearns MP, Chair, House of Commons Foreign Affairs Committee, on the outcomes of the recent update to the UK’s Integrated Review of Security, Defence, Development and Foreign Policy.
Overview
Following its inquiry last year into what changes the government should include in the Integrated Review refresh, the Foreign Affairs Committee published its report in December 2022.
In her speech, Ms Kearns will discuss the foreign policy outcomes of the Integrated Review update, the future of UK–China relations, as well as the broader policy changes required following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Speaker's biography
Alicia Kearns MP is the Member of Parliament for Rutland and Melton, and Chair of the House of Commons Foreign Affairs Committee. Prior to being elected to Parliament, she worked in counterterrorism at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and then as an independent consultant across the Middle East and North Africa, Eastern Europe and the Western Balkans.

This is a hybrid event taking place at the Army and Navy Club, 36–39 Pall Mall, London, SW1Y 5JN, and online. Please note that in-person places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
