Inaugural speech on military education
Overview
Last year, Her Majesty The Queen, Patron of RUSI, was graciously pleased to approve the establishment of a yearly Prince Philip Lecture on Military Education to honour the late Prince’s legacy, who launched a debate about the importance of military education at a speech delivered to RUSI in 1983.
In this inaugural lecture, Sir Anthony shares his personal thoughts on the prospects for the College for National Security as a vehicle to fuse science and technology into core national security thinking, as well as building and developing effective relationships across the public, private and voluntary sectors.
The lecture is chaired by Lord Sedwill of Sherborne, RUSI Distinguished Fellow and former UK Cabinet Secretary.
