A conversation with Anne Neuberger, Deputy Assistant to the US President and Deputy National Security Advisor for Cyber and Emerging Technology, on the importance of information sharing across the public and private sectors to counter cyber threats.


In this wide-ranging conversation, Ms Neuberger offers her thoughts on how this information sharing can deter ransomware threats. She also provides updates on the cyber implications of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and on Chinese state-sponsored malicious cyber activity.

Speaker's biography

Anne Neuberger was appointed by President Joe Biden in January 2021. Previously, she was the National Security Agency’s (NSA) Director of Cyber Security and beforehand Ms Neuberger co-led the NSA and US Cyber Command’s election security effort and led the NSA’s intelligence operations.
