A panel of distinguished experts will reflect on the role of the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) as it celebrates its 75th anniversary.

The CIA has been an enabler of foreign policy during key moments of crises, from the early days of the Cold War, through the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Vietnam War, the fall of the Soviet Union, 9/11 and the ‘War on Terror’, to the surging threats of the 21st century.

In this webinar, the panellists will reflect on the role of the CIA in its 75th year. They will also discuss how key historical events have shaped the evolution of the US–UK intelligence relationship and the importance of intelligence sharing today, following Russia’s illegal invasion of Ukraine.
