Mikko Hypponen, the cyber-security expert known for his long track record of predicting new forms of cyber aggression, is Chief Research Officer at F-Secure, which he joined in 1991. In addition to lecturing at universities including Stanford, Oxford and Cambridge, Hypponen regularly writes articles for a broader audience, in outlets including Wired and Scientific American. PC World magazine has voted him one of the 50 most important people on the web, and he has been featured on Foreign Policy's Global 100 Thinkers list.
Hypponen serves on the advisory boards of t2 and Social Safeguard, and on the advisory panel for the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
