Climate Change, Energy and Security in the Modern World

RUSI is delighted to welcome the Military Advisory Board of CNA, a US Think Tank, for a private seminar to discuss the implications of climate change and energy on the international security environment.  Given the impending National Security Capability Review in the UK with its probable implications on people, ships, aircraft and ways of operating, there is some who might consider that climate change and security have not reached their rightful place on the agenda.  The research from CNA indicates that such a move would be folly.

Explaining the reasons for this, Vice Admiral Lee Gunn (USN Retd), General Ronald Keys (USAF Retd), and Rear Admiral Neil Morisetti (RN Retd) will take part in a private round table discussion on at RUSI.
