The new RUSI Defence, Industries and Society Programme will be launched at an evening reception on 30 June 2011.
The Defence, Industries and Society Programme is a major, independent and long-term research study to create an authoritative and evidence-based understanding of the place of industries in Western defence and wider society. It aims to inform political and academic debates relating to future military capabilities, foreign policy ambitions, investment choices and policies impacting on businesses supporting defence.
