This one-day conference, held in conjunction with the London Technology Network and supported by the Home Office, brings together industry, academia and Government to encourage innovative thinking that will lead to new solutions for national security challenges.

An interactive, discussion-based programme with poster sessions will focus on three key security areas; surveillance, biometrics and biosecurity. Government representatives will discuss the challenges currently facing these areas and the solutions needed. Delegates will be given the opportunity to brainstorm ideas that may help to shape the research and development agenda in the coming months.

With sessions looking into how public sector funding can be accessed, as well as how to ensure efficient engagement is maintained between Government, academia, industry and end-users, as well as an update on the engagement activities of the Office of Security and Counter Terrorism, the conference aims to generate ideas that can springboard into funded research projects.

For information on the programme and to discuss sponsorship opportunities, please contact Tom Mortimer, Project Manager, on +44 (0)20 7747 2627 or
