Join us for the next event in our Business Leader series, a conversation with Poppy Gustafsson, Chief Executive Officer of Darktrace plc. This event will be held in person at 10–11 Carlton House Terrace, London, SW1Y 5AH.


In this wide-ranging conversation, Mrs Gustafsson will offer perspectives on:

  • Expectations versus reality: why are we yet to see cyber attacks of the scale and sophistication we were expecting?
  • The types of attack which have dominated the cyber landscape so far.
  • Global implications of nation-state cyber tools trickling down into the hands of cyber criminals.
  • The importance of widespread preparedness and collaboration between governments and business.


Poppy Gustafsson was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Darktrace plc in October 2016. She was awarded an OBE for services to cyber security in 2019.

The discussion will be moderated by Professor Madeline Carr, RUSI Senior Associate Fellow and Professor of Global Politics and Cybersecurity, University College London.
