Services' Family Accommodation: The Home Front
Professor Louth, Professor Taylor, Dr Twort and Dr Thompson from King’s College, London, have spent 18 months researching the intent of the Ministry of Defence’s Future Accommodation Model and the drivers for Service families’ accommodation provision within and across UK defence.
The authors conceptualise Service families’ accommodation as generating multiple critical choices central to the provision of enduring defence capabilities and discuss the possibility that different branches of the armed forces and different families might require a variety of flexible solutions.
With significant access to housing providers, Service charities, policy makers and the financial services communities, the authors offer a highly innovative and thought-provoking set of policy recommendations.
