As part of RUSI’s Conflict, War and Culture programme, Hallé musicians perform a programme of musical pieces derived from, and around, the First World War and featuring the music of some of the country’s best loved composers including Ralph Vaughan Williams and George Butterworth.
This is the first event of RUSI and the Halle’s partnership, and we are proud of the fact that this must be the first time in history when a think tank and an orchestra have come together in this creative way. We look forward to celebrating our unique partnership in a number of events over the coming two years
The performance will start at 1830 in the Duke of Wellington Hall at RUSI, followed by drinks from 1915 upstairs in the RUSI Library of Military History.
