Land Operations and Capabilities

This programme studies land forces and their links to other armed services, allies and wider government.

The programme's research aims to contribute to the ongoing debate on recruitment and training, and offers further analysis on force structure and equipment.

With a primary focus on UK land forces, we also assess the performance of the British Army in its current international operations.

The programme also facilitates debate on the lessons and implications of today's operations for development of operational art and concepts in the future.
