Trench Gascoigne Prize The Competition aims to encourage original writing on contemporary issues of defence and international security and national resilience, ideally with an emphasis on the military sciences. It is open to authors of any nationality and entries are particularly welcome from members of the Armed Forces. One or more prizes within a total of £1000 may be awarded. The closing date for the 2008 Prize is 31 October 2008.

Research & Consultancy The Military Sciences Department has considerable experience in contract research and project management on behalf of Government Departments, commercial companies and other organizations, using in-house staff, Associate Fellows, Research Associates and a wide network of other experts. Our organization allows us to be very flexible and to respond to short-notice requests as well as longer-term projects.
