Copyright & Reprints

All RUSI Journal and Whitehall Paper copyright and reprint requests are handled by Taylor & Francis.

Information on this process can be found by clicking here (opens in a new window).

Please note that these copyright requests can take five weeks to process.

For all other RUSI publications, please submit a request in writing. E-mail your request to publications@rusi.org with the following information:

  • Title of the publication or periodical
  • Author(s)
  • Volume/issue number
  • Year of copyright/publication
  • Title of article
  • Page number(s)
  • Figure/table numbers
  • Number of photocopies to be reproduced and how they will be distributed (conference, classroom, etc.)
  • If requested material will be included in another publication, please indicate the publication title and publication date.

All requests for permission are processed in order of receipt and will involve a fee. Permission fees vary depending on intended use, quantity, and so on. A full quote will be provided upon receipt of the request. Please allow one week for a response to copyright and reprint requests.
